My Story: How I Healed My Once-High-Risk HPV
Twenty years ago, I was diagnosed with high-risk HPV (cervical dysplasia) - and it completely rocked my world.
I felt ashamed, confused, and terrified, especially when my doctor told me it could potentially develop into cervical cancer.
Over the years, I saw multiple gynecologists, went through countless colposcopies, had the LEEP procedure, and spent thousands of dollars on doctor visits…
But my pap smears were still coming back abnormal.
That time in my life took a huge toll on my physical and mental health - and on my confidence.
I was afraid to date, afraid to have sex, and I didn’t trust my body. I couldn’t understand why this was happening to me…and my doctors didn’t have much to offer beyond “wait and see.”
I was SO frustrated, I decided to take things into my own hands.
I spent years researching HPV, nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes - and realized there are so many things you can do to support your body’s ability to manage it naturally.
And It worked. My pap smears started coming back normal.
That experience completely changed my relationship with my diagnosis - and with my body.
I’m no longer ashamed, scared, or worried about HPV.
I trust my body and know that it’s capable of healing itself when given the right support.

Meet Adrienne, the Yoni Nutritionist
I’m Adrienne, a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Yoga Teacher, and Women’s Health Coach with a deep passion for women’s sexual health and empowerment.
I was diagnosed with high-risk HPV and cervical dysplasia in my early 20s - and I know exactly what it feels like to ride that emotional rollercoaster of abnormal pap smears, colposcopies, LEEP procedures, and constant fear that it might develop into cervical cancer.
Fast forward almost 20 years, and I’m proud to say that I’ve been HPV-free for over 10 years, with normal pap results for several years in a row.

HPV Facts - Did you know?
HPV is a virus, and is the most commonly transmitted STI.
In fact, according to the CDC (Center for Disease Control & Prevention) 80 million Americans have HPV and 14 million new diagnoses are expected each year.
This means almost anyone who is sexually active will get at least one type of HPV during their lifetime.
It’s estimated that HPV will go away without treatment in 80-90% of people who contract it.
That being said, although we can "heal" HPV, the virus never actually goes away - it remains dormant in our bodies until it is triggered by a suppressed immune system.
This is why it's important to live a healthy lifestyle to maintain the health of your immune system, so that you can heal HPV and prevent it from developing into serious, long-term health issues.
